Dougie Lampkin - Gas Gas did not have to think twice when he was recently invited by long time and loyal sponsor Renthal to be a part of an open day to celebrate the achievements of their dedicated work force. With Dougie having used the World famous British made handlebars throughout his illustrious career and right from an early age he was eager to play his role at the Bredbury based factory.

Thirty-five year old Lampkin who has netted no less than twelve FIM World titles of his own, was on hand to present certificates and awards to many of the Renthal employees who have recently earned a range of new qualifications. These were achieved as part of an internal training process that has seen the company invest in its staff in order to maintain and improve the high standards for which they have become renowned.

After sharing a hearty hog roast lunch with Renthal co-founder Henry Rosenthal, managing director Tom Wade, commercial director Rees Williams and the remainder of the Bredbury supporting cast, Dougie was keen to tour the factory in his own inevitable way.
